Simenafil is a new drug from the group of PDE5 inhibitors, and in a trial of 84 men with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction it showed some effect: the time of maintaining rigidity increased by a few minutes compared with placebo. However, the results turned out to be modest and contradictory — for some doses and sites, the difference with placebo was statistically insignificant. This is only the second phase of clinical trials: the study is short, there are few participants, so it is still far from pharmacies and it is too early to talk about a breakthrough. If you have erection problems, you should not wait for a miracle from a new pill — it is better to discuss with a doctor already proven options, such as sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil. Asking for a prescription specifically for simenafil now does not make sense.
